Building a Legacy in Construction and Biopharmaceuticals

Biography

Fascinated by construction from a young age due to my grandfather's legacy as a general contractor in Thomasville, Georgia, I began my hands-on journey in the field working on diverse projects ranging from residential homes to significant commercial buildings, starting at thirteen. With over 27 years of experience, I have directed multibillion-dollar projects in various sectors, including biopharmaceutical manufacturing, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and innovation. My expertise encompasses program management, business development, and leading cross-functional teams towards achieving operational excellence. Recognized for my leadership, I have consistently delivered projects that surpass expectations, including earing accolades such as the CURT Safety Award in 2015.

My career's pinnacle was as Senior Site Project Manager for the Baxalta (now Takeda) project in Social Circle, Georgia—a challenging yet fulfilling $2.1 Billion Covington biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This project, spanning over one million square feet, included comprehensive design and construction of critical infrastructure, such as a Francization Manufacturing Suite, Central Utility Building, laboratories, and data centers, fundamentally advancing GAMMAGARD immunotherapy production. Witnessing the profound impact of our work on families in need solidified my passion for the industry.

I aspire to leverage my extensive background and visionary outlook towards a role as a program/project executive, aiming to drive organizational growth and industry leadership in capital projects.
